LUCKY DAWG RAFFLE!


The GHS Class of 2010 Safe and Sober Graduation Committee is sponsoring a raffle with cash prizes of $1500, $1000, and $500! Tickets are available from all senior parents, and are available from parents at all home athletic events. Get your tickets now! Tickets will be sold for $10 each and make great stocking stuffers!

Elementary Basketball


**Just a friendly reminder: Genesee Elementary Recreational Basketball forms are due by next Friday, December 18th to the School Office. This program runs for 6 Saturday mornings beginning in January. The registration form was sent home with students on blue paper. There is no cost to register!

Additionally, there will be an elementary basketball clinic offered on Saturday morning, January 9th here at the school. The registration form for the clinic went home on orange paper and there is a $10 fee.

WINTER BREAK


For your planning purposes, Winter Break for Genesee Schools begins with Early Release this Friday. School will dismiss at 1:25 p.m. and busses will run regular routes at that time. School will be closed until Monday morning, January 4th, when classes will resume at 8:25 a.m. Have a safe, relaxing and fun break!

QSP FUNDRAISER PICK-UP


The items ordered from the QSP Music Program Fundraiser have arrived and are available for pick-up. Primary students are asked to have a parent with them when they pick-up their orders. You may pick-up items today from 3:30 to 6:00 p.m. in the Music Room. Thank you!

JR/SR High School News


1.)Good Luck to the Girls Basketball team who will travel to Troy this evening for a game beginning at 7:00 p.m. Go Dawgs!

2.)The Jr/Sr High School Winter Concert will be Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. in the Multi. FREE and the community is welcome!

3.)The following students need to meet with Mr. Scripter in the Library on Thursday during Activity Period for PSAT results: Nikki A., April B., Lacey F., Rachel K., Miranda L., Tallah R., Courtney S., Tauna T., Jake W-M, Sam D-N, Gavin E. and Ryan P.

REMINDER: The Elementary After School Study Hall is a program for student to work on class assignments and homework. Once the work is complete, students are excused to go home. There are not “activities” for students to be involved in, as this is NOT an after school child care type program. Thank you.
