Hunter Education Course


This class will be held in Genesee beginning March 7. Registration for the class is required and is available online at http://fishandgame.idaho.gov or contact Bill Seybold at 208-285-0206. More information is available in the office.

Basketball Clinic


The Genesee Boys Basketball team will be leading a basketball clinic on March 10 from 9-1 at the High School Gym. All boys and girls in grades 3-8 are invited to attend. Proceeds from the clinic will go to the Cindy Stout Fundraiser. Registration forms for this camp are due to the HS office today.

Bake Sale


Due to the boys state basketball tournament and lack of company members, Midget's Milkshakes and More will not be selling baked goods at lunchtime tomorrow. Sorry for the inconvenience. We look forward to seeing you next Friday, March 9.


JR/SR High School News


Congratulations to the BB team on their win over Lapwai last Friday night. The boys will leave this morning at 10:00 for the State Basketball Tournament and will take on Liberty Charter Thursday evening at 5:15 (PST). There will be a send off for the team this morning at 9:45 at the school. All community members are welcome to attend. Good luck at State!

Students attending the state tournament: remember to take your student ID with you for discounted admission ticket prices to the games.

Elementary and secondary students planning to attend the boys basketball state tournament as spectators need to have a completed pre-arranged absence form turned in to the office before you leave.

Congratulations to Katelyn Phillips, Jack Hermann and Sam Druffel who were selected to the District II North All-Star Basketball Teams! The games will be played March 7th at Lewiston HS beginning at 6:00 pm. Congratulations as well to Coach Boyd who will be coaching!

Congratulations to Anna Sobczyk who was one of one hundred students to qualify for the National Geographic State Bee. She will be representing Genesee in Boise in March.

The Distinguished Young Women Committee is having a Pampered Chef fundraiser. We would love your support!

Help the local food bank! There will be boxes in the gym foyer as well as a poster with a list of items that are needed. This is for my Senior Project, so please help out! Thanks, Brianna Nelson.

Genesee Youth Baseball


Genesee baseball teams will be organizing soon and if anyone ages 9-15 wants to play on a Genesee team in the Cal Ripken Moscow league, they do not need to go sign up in Moscow. Cal Ripken forms are due to Trevor or Makenzie Stout today.

Genesee Youth Baseball


Genesee baseball teams will be organizing soon and if anyone ages 9-15 wants to play on a Genesee team in the Cal Ripken Moscow league, they do not need to go sign up in Moscow. We sign up as a team and forms will be collected by Tammy Stout just like we do every year. Softball will be a month or so later...and we will try again to organize t-ball and pitching machine teams just in Genesee.

Genesee Youth Baseball


Genesee baseball teams will be organizing soon and if anyone ages 9-15 wants to play on a Genesee team in the Cal Ripken Moscow league, they do not need to go sign up in Moscow. We sign up as a team and forms will be collected by Tammy Stout just like we do every year. Softball will be a month or so later...and we will try again to organize t-ball and pitching machine teams just in Genesee.

Congratulations to the BB team on their win over CV last night at the District Tournament. The Bulldogs will now meet Lapwai Friday night at 7:30 in the Championship game at the LCSC Activity Center. Good Luck!

Congratulations to the Varsity boys basketball team who defeated Lapwai last night. Great effort by the JV team who played well, but fell short of victory.

Need a cookie or brownie after lunch today? The senior accounting class will have delicious treats for sale in the foyer today during elementary lunch recesses and JH/HS lunch.

Lately there have been thefts occurring in the HS. Parents please strongly encourage your student to use their school issued lock to keep any valuables they bring to school secure. Mr. Caldwell has been around to the classes addressing this issue and we appreciate your follow up at home. Thank you.

JH Boys BB Players: Practice starts next Tuesday 2/14 after school. Get your Pay-To-Participate and interim forms in to coach Crowley before practice begins. If you are a 7th grader and did not play football, you will also need a physical.

Any current 8th-11th grade girls interested in playing on the varsity-level summer league volleyball team this year, please meet in Coach Crowley’s room for a few minutes right after school on Wednesday.

All Junior Girls: Applications are in the office for Syringa Girls State. This is a great opportunity to meet new people and develop some great leadership skills. Applications are due February 24th.

There are treats in Mrs. Tilleman's room for the boys basketball team. Good luck!

Good luck to the Boys Basketball teams who will travel to Kendrick for games tonight! Go Bulldogs!

We have fliers in the office for anyone interested in joining Cal Ripken Ages 9-12 or Babe Ruth Ages 13-18 for this spring. Registration is online or in person this year. Registration must be completed on or before February 22nd!

Community Blood Drive


Genesee High School will hold a community blood drive today from 12:30-4:00 p.m. The Blood Bus will be parked out front and the sign-in will be held in the gym foyer. Blood drive workers are, 5th hour: Miranda; 6th hour: Karli; 7th hour: Sam D.-N.
