Elementary News:
Mars Rover
Parent/Student Meeting, Thursday November 8th @ 5:30 in the Library.
The Mars Rover Challenge is a statewide, extra-curricular STEM event for
4th-6th graders. Students are challenged to build a
functioning Mars Rover model using a specific set of criteria and special Lego
kits. For more information contact the Genesee coordinator Heidi Waisanen at hwaisanen@sd282.org or call the school directly at 285-1162.
After School Study
Hall:
**Please remember this program is to help students be successful in
completing homework and getting extra help with school work. This program is
not intended to be used as daycare, if you are expecting your student to remain
for the duration of the program he/she needs to have a book to read or work to
be completed quietly. If your student has finished all work and has nothing to
work on he/she will be allowed to sign out of the program. Please ensure you
are able to make arrangements to pick up your student or have him/her walk home.
