Elementary News:
The Civic Association Halloween Party is Sunday, October 29 from 5
p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Senior Center. Kids up to and including age 11
and their parents are invited! Wear your costumes and enjoy food, games,
pumpkin decorating, costume contest, making bird food treats and more.
This Thursday, October
26th will be the first box top count for elementary classes! There is a drop box
in the main office if you don’t have a student in grade school and would like
to donate your box tops!
Elementary conferences will be Thursday Nov. 2nd (p.m.) and
Friday Nov. 3rd (a.m.) PTO will be providing childcare both days during
scheduled conference times.

is not an activities based or daycare program. This program is designed to help
students accomplish homework tasks or receive additional help. Students need to
have something to work on at the after school study hall.

School News:
Congratulations to Hayden Woods, Prep Athlete of the Week!
Congratulations to
Tanner Gray on making the first team Idaho State Trapshooting team as a
sub-junior. He qualified and beat out others in his division by shooting
at, at least 1,000 registered targets (taking place at Troy-Deary Gun Club,
Spokane Gun Club, and Walla Walla Gun Club) and ended up with a 92.5/100
average.
CONGRATS!!! Mrs.
Bardwell's 7th-12th-grade students were the overall winners of the
Sumdog Region 2 Math Contest. With 10 team members, the avg. score was
433. The top students who answered the most questions correctly were: Colby
Michalak 840, Isaac Hale 818, and Dakota Thomas 583. Genesee students were in
seven of the top 10 places. Way to go Bulldogs!
There will be a BPA
meeting in Mr. Crowley's room on 10/31 at 7:40 am for all those
interested in BPA for the coming year. We will discuss events, officers, and
the regional conference. If you would like to join BPA, but can't make the
meeting, make sure to speak to Mr. Crowley.
