1) IditaREAD 2016 is off and running. You can still join! Follow the route the Iditarod dogs and mushers are using and Challenge yourself to read 975 pages by spring break. OR challenge yourself to meet your end-of-quarter reading goals. OR make a team and add your pages together. Earn prizes and bragging rights. Choose your dog at the library. Runs March 9th - 23rd
2) If you have signed up for the IditaREAD remember to get your daily page counts to the library in order to advance your dog. Email swright@sd282.org, or pop on in and fill out a daily tag.
The 3rd grade trio of Will and Vince Crowley, and Andrew Rector are currently in 1st place. Senior Calysta Prindle is 2nd

Junior Girls:
  Idaho Syringa Girls State will be held June 12 – 17, 2016 at Northwest Nazarene College in Nampa, Idaho.  Local delegates are chosen by the Genesee American Legion Auxiliary.  If you are interested in going to Girls State, please fill out the interest form and email to wwoods@genesee-id.com or call me at 208-305-3990 on or before Mar 15, 2016.  For more information about Girls State visit the website.

Sports This Week
Sunday afternoon will be the basketball banquets for each program. 

The boys basketball teams will hold their banquet from 2-3:30pm in the multi purpose room.

The girls basketball teams will hold their banquet from 4-5:30pm in the multi purpose room.


Congrats to the boys on the tournament this past weekend. Even though we lost in the consolation game, we did bring home the Sportsmanship Award. The team played hard and represented our school with class.
