BMac Sports Basketball Clinics

Where: Genesee High School Gyms, Genesee, Idaho

Who: Grades: 3-5 and 6-8 Boys and Girls
Times: 5:00-6:30 pm (all at same time)
Each clinic will focus on different areas of basketball fundamental development:
Ball handling, dribbling, passing, shooting, rebounding, post play, and defense
Cost: Genesee resident $5 non-residents $8 (each clinic attended)
BRING YOUR FAVORITE BASKETBALL IF YOU HAVE ONE.
Must register for each clinic session interested in attending. Registration form only needs to be filled out prior to the first clinic attended. Fee is due before start of each clinic. Pre-registration or registration day of clinic is acceptable.

Jr. High/High School News
Voting for Homecoming Royalty will take place at lunch today in the gym foyer. Congratulations to the following nominees: Austen and Mattie, Beau and Mary Kate, Rhett and Sammy and Sam and Rachel.
Good luck to the C/JV/V Volleyball teams who play in Potlatch tonight beginning at 5:00.
There are treats in Mrs. Tilleman's room for the Volleyball players and in Mr. Hanson's room for the football players.
Good luck to the JH Football team who travel to Troy for a game beginning at 5:30. Junior high players meet in the Spanish classroom right after school, the bus will leave at 4:15.
Homecoming dance picture forms are available in the HS office.
The After School Program for JH/HS students is an opportunity for students to complete their work and receive additional assistance. It will run from 3:25-4:25 in the following locations:

Thursday 9/25— Dynamic Duo Day—Dress up with a friend like your favorite dynamic duo! (Batman & Robin, Bert & Ernie, Superman & Wonder Woman, etc. )
Friday 9/26-Blue & Gold Day—FB Players in jerseys, VB players in jersey tops, both HS and JH students. Cheer squad in uniforms and everyone else in bulldog blue, gold and white!
Homecoming Dance: Saturday, September 27th 9:00 p.m.-Midnight, Cost: $5 per person
Location: GHS Commons.
Dance Etiquette: A reminder about dancing guidelines that are consistent with schools in the region.
1.All approved guests must be (at least) in the 9th grade and not be older than 20 years of age.
2.All approved guests are subject to the same rules as GHS students and the GHS student is responsible for their guest and their guest’s behavior.
3.Front to back dancing will not be allowed. Violations will result in being removed from the dance.
Out of Town Guests: 1 out of town guest per person. You are responsible for your guest and their behavior. A sign-up sheet will be in the office window. All guests must be signed up by 4:00 pm Thursday Sept. 25.

Yearbook Signing Party September 29th, 7:00-8:30 p.m. Multi-Purpose Room
The 2014 yearbooks are here! Each year, the yearbook staff holds a signing party for all those who purchased a book to share and sign with friends classmates (and usually a few returning seniors). This year we’re doing things a little differently. This year’s party will include pizza in addition to the usual music and sodas that we've had in the past. Also, entry is now free to anyone who purchased a book for 2014. That’s right—FREE PIZZA AND POP. If you didn’t buy a yearbook, you are still welcome to attend for the usual $3 entry fee. Please sign up for the party ahead of time in Mr. Barham’s room so we can order the right amount of pizza/soda for everyone who would like to attend.
