The last day of school for Genesee students will be early release at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow Wednesday, June 4.
Basketball Clinic Opportunity
Genesee High School Girls Basketball coach Brandon McIntosh will hold basketball clinics throughout the summer on Sunday evenings for all interested students in grades 3-8 for the 2014-2015 school year. Students in grades 3-5 will meet from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. and those in grades 6 - 8 will meet from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. Watch for information to come home with students.
Community Day 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament
Anyone interested in playing in the Community Day 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament, please stop by Mr. Crowley’s room or the office to get a sign up sheet.
Book Donations Accepted
Spring cleaning? No more room on those bookshelves? Friends of the Genesee Library are accepting donations for the Community Day Book Sale. Drop off donations at the library during regular hours: M & W 1pm-7pm, and Thurs 10am -4pm. Please, no water or food damaged items. All proceeds from the sale will be used to fund the New and Improved Summer Reading Program.
Jr. High/High School News
All FFA swine exhibitors for the 2014 Latah County Fair need to come up to the shop today and sign up for a project visit time. Mr. Morrow needs to tag and weigh your swine. These are the only days available so you need to come and sign up. There will be a mandatory meeting today for all FFA fair exhibitors in the shop after the Jackson Baldwin presentation.
6-11 grade Girls Basketball open gym Tuesday and Thursday 6-8 pm. Please make open gym if you are signed up for LCSC tournament this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Softball players: if you are missing your medal from the state tournament, talk to Courtney Burt.
All 6th - 11th grade students: please keep in mind this summer that you do not need to purchase a backpack for next year, everyone will receive a backpack that has been fitted to the new laptop computers.
"No One Fights Alone" wrist bands for $3 each with all proceeds going to the Funke Family for medical expenses are available in the HS office. Checks can be made out to " Brian or Wendy Funke" with "Lance" on the memo line. Please contact Sydney Cornell with questions at 208-310-1027.
