Safe and Sober Graduation Committee Drawing


Congratulations to the 2014 winners: 1st Place, $1000  Patty Johnson; 2nd Place, $500 Pat Shirley; 3rd Place, $250 Linette Valles. Thanks to everyone who bought tickets in support of the Class of 2014 Safe and Sober Graduation.


Staff Professional Development


There will be no school for students this Friday, April 18 due to a scheduled staff professional development day. School will resume Monday, April 21 at 8:00 a.m.


Easter Egg Hunt


Genesee Civic Association’s Easter Egg Hunt is scheduled for Saturday, April 19th at the Upper City Park at 10 a.m. sharp.  Fifth grade and under are welcome to hunt.  There will be 3 areas laid out for 3 age groups.  Eggs will be filled with toys, candy and money.  Watch for the Golden eggs.  They will have a special treat.


Spring Book Fair


Book Fair starts Monday! See you there.


Genesee Softball Camp


Fourth through eighth grade students interested in softball camp to be held on Saturday, May 10 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. can still turn forms in to the HS office until Thursday, April 17. Forms are available in the office or from Courtney Peck at courtney.peck@geneseebulldogs.org. The cost for the camp is $15.


Jr. High/High School News


Student Council Meeting: today at lunch in Mr. Chambers' Classroom.

Good luck to the Track athletes who will be competing in Lapwai today beginning at 4:00.

Good luck to the Softball teams who play Troy at Airport Park beginning with the Varsity at 5:00 followed by the JV. Good luck to the Baseball team as they take on Grangeville at Clearwater Park in Lewiston at 5:00. If the games are playable, both teams will ride one bus leaving promptly at 3:25. We will update game status by 2:30.

Good luck to Evyn as she competes in her first junior high rodeo of the season this weekend in Weiser.

Friday 4/18: Baseball vs. Clearwater Valley at Kooskia at 2:00 and at Kamiah at 5:00 - team pictures at 10:45, bus leaves at 11:30
Saturday 4/19: Track meet at Kootenai High School beginning at 9:00 a.m.
Saturday 4/19: Softball vs. Kendrick at 11:00 a.m. and vs. Clearwater Valley at 1:30 p.m. at Airport Park

2013-14 Girls basketball team and managers: Saturday, April 26 for a few hours in the morning we will be volunteering within our community to pay it forward the gift from PNW for our State Basketball trip. Everyone must be present and help out. More information on time and what is needed will come soon.
 
If anyone has white Christmas lights they would share for prom decorating, please talk to Sydney (208-310-1027) or Mr. Derting. Thanks!

Mikayla is also in need of white Christmas lights to decorate for her Senior Project dance at the fire hall on April 19. Contact Mikayla at 208-874-7705 if you are able to donate lights. Also, please label your lights so that she can return them.
