Graffiti At The Library?!

Here’s an opportunity for Genesee youth to express themselves and create some artwork for everyone
to walk on and enjoy during Community Day. Anyone presently in grades 5 and up interested in creating
graffiti relating to our summer reading theme of “Dig Deep” and “Beneath the Surface” come sign up
and begin creating your graffiti block at the Genesee Library during Summer Reading sign-up week
beginning June 3. Sidewalk-chalk-Graffiti must be completed by Noon on Thursday June 6. “Keep it
clean” as all ages will be able to see the finished project. If you need ideas, contact Jennifer Hayne or
the Library. (In case of inclement weather, library will provide paper/markers for “graffiti” to be done inside. Artwork will be showcased inside the library during Community Day book sale.)
