ISAT Testing


Please make every effort to ensure that your child is in attendance for testing and that they are well rested and have eaten breakfast.

* The ISAT is not a timed test. 90 minutes is allocated for each test, but students will be
allowed to continue testing if additional time is needed to complete the assessment.



Prescription Drug Collection


Most abused prescription drugs come from family and friends. Unused or expired prescription medications are a public safety issue, leading to accidental poisoning, overdose and abuse. The Latah County Sheriffs Department will hold a community take-back program for the disposal of unused and/or expired prescription medications this Saturday, April 27 from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. in the Genesee Food Center parking lot.


FFA Plant Sale


FFA flower and veggie plant sale. If you would like to buy greenhouse plants before the mothers day sale on the 11th please talk to Mr. Morrow. We have veggie plants and flowers ready to go early. Geraniums (4 colors) , pansy, moss rose, gazania, marigold, petunia baskets, mixed flower baskets.


Save the Date


There will be a blood drive held at the school Tuesday, May 14 from 1:00 - 4:15 p.m. The online sign up is open at www.inbcsaves.org or you can sign up in the HS Office the week before the drive. 


Food Drive


The Genesee Cub Scouts will be going door-to-door on Saturday, May 4 beginning at 9:00 a.m. to collect food for the Genesee Food Bank.


Junior High and High School News  


The secondary computer lab will be closed to students at 7:45 a.m. in order to prepare the lab each morning for ISAT testing.

If you picked up an FFA Officer application, please see Mr. Morrow today. The wrong applications were handed out and you need to get the correct one. Applications are due April 29. Sifting will take place May 1 at 6:00 p.m. in the shop.

Great job to the Softball team who played well, but were defeated by Troy yesterday.

Congratulations to the following track athletes: Reggie placed 1st in Shot and second in Discus. Tyler placed 4th in the 100 and 6th in the 200 and Evan was 8th in the 800.

April 27 Prom Activity Information: please sign up at the HS Office if you plan to bring an out of town guest and/or if you would like to ride the bus. You can also prepay at the office $8 per person or the cost will be $10 at the door. All prepayments and  guest sign up information needs to be completed by Wednesday, April 24 at 4:00.

Reminder to all students signed up for Driver's Ed: class begins next Wednesday, May 1 at 6:30 a.m. in Mr. Sams Classroom.
