The Music Fundraiser Items Have Arrived! 


Please come see Ms. McMullin in the music room to retrieve your sales items and prizes!  4th-6th graders may retrieve their own items (and items for younger siblings) but 1st-3rd graders need to have a parent or older sibling with them.  Also, students with especially large orders may need to have another set of hands to carry everything home.

Booster Club News


Attention Genesee Boosters!  We need your help this Saturday at our Basketball Fundraiser Concession Stand & Clothing Table! We are setting up at 11:00 a.m. and cleaning the gym after the last game.  We need bodies to help set up and run the food and clothing tables and to clean after!  This fundraiser creates funds for your kids, please help!!  Please email kstout@cpcinternet.com if you are able to help!  Thank you!!

The Genesee Boosters will work the concession stand this Saturday, December 1st at our first girls and boys basketball quad game for the season! Please come and support our teams by eating a baked potato with all the fixings or a grilled hotdog & chili.  We will also have many other items for sale.  Our clothing table
will also be set up for all of your Genesee Spirit Gear needs.  Please pick up existing orders or make new ones!  THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONTINUED SUPPORT OF OUR KIDS! 


Composting Project


The 7th grade class is designing a composting program for our school. Please help us by putting the correct materials in the green bins in the lunch room. Check the side of each bin for the daily compostable items. Thank you.


Book Sale


Need a gift for that hard-to-buy-for person?  Take a look at the books available through the Silent Auction this week at the City Library.  Final  bids will be accepted until 4:45 PM on Sunday, December 2, during the Civic Association’s Christmas Lighting.  All proceeds benefit the Friends of the Genesee Library.


Chess Anyone?


Remember,  learn and play Chess and other strategy games at the public library this afternoon, 4-5 p.m. That gives you time to go home and get a snack first!


Junior High and High School News


Congratulations to the GB teams who defeated Kendrick last night.

Annual testing for IDFY ("P" and Pizza) is tonight from 5:30 - 7:00. If you are a new IDFY member, get a registration form from Mrs. Sperber.

The Genesee Girls Basketball  teams will have only 2 quarters of JV  followed by Varsity for games scheduled through December 8th. This will move up start times for varsity games as detailed below:
Nov. 29  Kamiah   6/7 p.m.
Dec. 1  Prairie 1/2 p.m. (Kendrick boy's games will still stay 4 and 5:30 p.m.)
Dec. 4  @ Lapwai  6/7 p.m.
Dec. 6  Deary  6/7 p.m.
Dec. 8  Kendrick  4/5 p.m. (Prairie boy's games will still stay 1 and 2:30 p.m.)
After December 8th we will re-evaluate our numbers and make a decision if we need to make the rest of the season 2 quarters of JV.  Thank you for your patience and understanding.

There will be an FFA officer meeting at lunch on Friday in the Ag. Shop. 

All students who would like to sign up to volunteer for the food drive on Saturday, please let Thomas or Mr. Caldwell know by Thursday. Thank you!

Seventh and eighth grade boys interested in pre-season basketball: we will be starting this Sunday, December 2 at 2:00 in the Aux. gym. 

The parliamentary procedure sign-up sheet for FFA is in the shop.

FFA members planning to attend the 212-360 conference in January need to have your non refundable $62 deposit in by Dec. 20. First 25 students with deposit in get to go.
