Hoop Shoot Winners


Congratulations to the Genesee Elks Hoop Shoot winners in the following age groups:
12-13 - Courtney Burt and Garrett Borth
10-11 - Evyn Hauser and Kolby Moser
8-9 - Carly Allen and Truman Renton
These students are now eligible to compete in the Lodge Shoot at Moscow's Bear Den on January 28th at 8:00 a.m. Good luck! Students will bring information home soon.


Community Blood Drive


Genesee High School will hold a community blood drive on Tuesday, January 31 from 12:30-4:00 p.m. Please sign up on-line for an appointment at www.inbcsaves.org or contact Mr. Caldwell at 285-1162. On-line sponsor code is: GeneseeHS.


JR/SR High School News



The Boys Basketball games scheduled to be played in Lapwai tonight have been canceled. They have been rescheduled for Thursday, February 9.

The boys and girls basketball games scheduled for tomorrow 1/21 in Timberline are planned to continue as scheduled. A decision will be made by 11:30 tomorrow morning and teams will be notified of any changes.

FFA Field Trip: bring your field trip forms signed by parents. The bus will leave Sunday as scheduled unless you hear differently from Mr. Morrow.

Monday, January 23 will be the second day of finals for JH and HS students, we will follow the schedule originally planned for Thursday. Tuesday will be the 1st day of second semester.

4:30 BB JV Main Gym vs Highland
4:30 GB JV Aux. Gym vs Kendrick
6:00 BB Varsity Main Gym vs Highland
7:30 GB Varsity Main Gym vs Kendrick (senior night)

JH Basketball, HS Baseball and HS Softball schedules have been posted to the Sports Web Page.

The City is looking for some volunteer JH and/or HS age students to help set up this Saturday for the Genesee History Day. Please contact Kathleen Blevins or City Hall at 285-1621 if you can help.

Music Events This Week:
Friday: Choir practices canceled, regular schedule Monday 1/23: JH/HS choir practice 6:30-7:30 pm; HS choir 7:30-8:30 pm

Please turn in your library books by the end of this semester. If you want to continue reading your book, then renew it with Mrs. Booth. Thanks.

Timberline Schools will hold a soft taco feed this Saturday, January 21 during the quad game. Cost is $4.00 with all the toppings, cookies will also be available for 25 cents each. The concessions booth will also be open.
