They do not count against the attendance rule. **PLEASE insure you pick-up the appropriate form from the office AND put your FULL name at the top of the form and SPECIFY the dates you will be absent. NOTE: Please remember, there is no school for students on Friday as this is a staff professional day.

JR/SR High School News

1.)Congratulations to the Volleyball teams who enjoyed good action here at home in the tri-match played Saturday. The Varsity defeated Lakeside, but fell short of victory against Nezperce. The JV claimed victory in both games! Nice job Bulldogs!

2.)Congratulations as well to the football team who played a great game Friday night against Potlatch. In a nail biter to the finish the Bulldogs fell just short of victory. Great effort team!

3.)Good luck to both the JV and Jr High Football teams who will travel to Potlatch for games beginning at 5:00 with the Jr. High game. Bus leaves promptly at 3:30. ALL players need to be in their game pants before boarding the bus.

4.)YEARBOOKS ARE HERE! Please plan to attend the annual yearbook signing party on Tuesday, September 13th. The doors to the Multi will open at 7:00 p.m. and close around 8:30. Come by, have a soda, and sign or have your friends sign your copy of the 2011 yearbook. We charge $5 at the door to cover our costs and to help keep the cost of the Genesee Yearbook as low as we can. See you there! *If you are unable to attend the party, yearbooks will be available Monday, September 19th in Mr. Barham's room.

5.)Yearbook Club Meeting: it's time to get ready for the 2012 yearbook. Our class begins second semester, but we need student to take pictures and help with events like the signing party. You do NOT need to be in the yearbook class to help take pictures. The Genesee Yearbook is a student project, which means you are encouraged to sign up to help build a great book? Our first meeting is MONDAY, September 12th during Activity Period at 9:40. Hope to see you there!
