Registration Information

**REMINDER: If you are new to the Genesee Community, and plan to attend Genesee Schools, please remember to register. In order to register for school, you will need:
1.) A completed Genesee School Emergency Care and Registration form, available in either the District or School Offices, or at this website.
2.) A copy of your child's immunization record
3.) A copy of your child's State Certified Birth Certificate. (Please note, the birth certificate from the hospital with the little footprints on it, is not the state certified copy.) If you do not have a legal copy of your child's birth certificate, one can be obtained from the Bureau of Vital Statistics for the state in which your child was born. **Please note that presenting a child's birth certificate prior to registering for school is not a district requirement, but is Idaho State Law, and required in order to enroll.

**If you know of someone new to our community, who perhaps has not yet registered, please Welcome them to Genesee and encourage them to register BEFORE August 31st.

OPEN HOUSE for Elementary Grades Pre-K through 2nd grade

There will be an Open House at Genesee School on Monday, August 29th, from 4:00-6:00 p.m. for grade Pre-K through 2nd grade. This is the perfect opportunity to meet the classroom teachers, see your child's classroom and drop off all school supplies. This helps to insure an easy transition into the first day of school. *This is not an appropriate time to conference with classroom teachers about personal concerns for your child. If you feel such a conference is needed, please call the school and set up a time when you might conference in a more private setting.
