Thank you to everyone who came out in support of the Silent Auction! We hope everyone had a good time and found fun and useful items to bid on. Thanks to everyone who donated baskets and items for the auction, there was a wonderful selection! Once again, your support of the Genesee School classes, clubs and groups is very much appreciated!
The last day to bring Box Tops for the Winter Box Top collection is Friday, February 25th. We will count them on Friday after school and the winner will be announced and awarded at an assembly in March. We need volunteers to come in at 3:15 on the 25th to help cut and count! Supplemental Levy Meeting
An informational meeting regarding the upcoming Supplemental Levy Renewal will be held this evening (2/9) in the multi purpose room beginning at 6:30 p.m. If you would like information, or if you have questions or concerns regarding funding for our school district for the 2011-12 school year, please plan to attend.
LIBRARY CLOSURE
The Genesee School Library will be closed from 8:15 to 9:00 on Thursday, February 10th for the Spelling Bee. *Please be courteous of this time frame, thank you.
JR/SR High School News
1.) Congratulations to the Boys Varsity team who defeated Prairie here at home last night. The JV team was not victorious over Prairie, but it was a good night of basketball all around. Nice Job Dawgs!
2.) Music events this week: Wednesday: JH Jazz Choir at 3:30pm, HS Choir at 7pm.
3.) Jr. High Boys Basketball: Practice will begin at 3:30 on Monday, February 14th in the Auxiliary Gym. Be sure to get your Pay-to-Participate and Interim Questionnaires to coach Crowley BEFORE you step on the court Monday.
4.) BPA State Qualifiers: Get your money to Mr. Crowley ASAP, please.
