Bulletin 4/24/2019


District Wide News:

4-day week, no school Friday April 26th.

National Drug Take Back Day will be this Saturday April 27th at the Genesee Food Center from 10:00 to 2:00. Latah County Deputies will be available to collect unwanted, unused or expired prescription and over the counter medications.

**Reminder all visitors need to sign in and out with the office and wear a visitor badge during school hours! This is an important safety feature for our students and staff! **

Elementary News:

Book Fair is coming, next week, April 29th-May 3rd, with the popular Grand Lunch event occurring Wednesday May 1st! In addition, a new event “Chill out with a Good Book” on April 30th at 3:30. Information will be coming home with students soon, be on the lookout! Proceeds from this fair allows every Genesee student to pick out a free book! Thank you for your continued support! 

There will be a Title 1 spring parent meeting May 1st from 6:00-7:00 pm in the Title 1 Room (#223). Invitations were sent home. Please RSVP.

Elementary Yearbook is available for purchase! Cost is 15.00 please visit www.treering.com/validate our school’s passcode is 1014208275471925.

After School Study Hall:
**Please remember this program is to help students be successful in completing homework and to get extra help when needed. This program is not intended to be used as daycare, if you are expecting your student to remain for the duration of the program he/she needs to have a book to read or work to be completed quietly. If your student has finished all work and has nothing to work on he/she will be allowed to sign out of the program. Please ensure you are able to make arrangements to pick up your student or have him/her walk home.

National Honors Society- May Day Flower Sale. One carnation for $2.00 or three for $5.00. Orders are due TODAY April 22nd, flowers will be delivered April 29th. All proceeds go to the Genesee Chapter of National Honor Society. Order forms were sent home with students, extra forms are located in the High School office.
