Bulletin 9/8/17

District Wide News:

We will be holding recess and sports practices indoors until air quality improves!

There will be no school September 14th and 15th

School picture retakes will be September 28th! There are extra packets in the office! JR High sports will also be on this day.  

**Reminder all visitors need to sign in and out with the office and wear a visitor badge during school hours! This is an important safety feature for our students and staff! **

Elementary News:

After School homework club will resume for grades K-2 the week of September 18th and grades 3-6 the week of September 11th. Please remember this is not an activities based or daycare program. This program is designed to help students accomplish homework tasks or receive additional help. Students need to have something to work on at the after school study hall.

Junior High and High School News:

Yearbook Photographers Wanted

  • Become part of a close-knit team
  • Take PRIDE in helping create the school’s yearbook
  • Learn how to take stunning photos
Talk with Mr. Barham if you’re interested in joining the yearbook team

Friday September 8th-
The Genesee @ Deary FB game scheduled for tonight has been canceled because of the smoke. This game will NOT be made up since it is non-league.

The Troy @ Genesee VB game which was originally scheduled for Thursday (9/7) will be played TONIGHT, September 8th in Genesee. C match will start at 5pm, JV and Varsity to follow. 

Saturday September 9th-   Genesee Athletes participating with Moscow High School Cross Country, Timberlake Farragut Invitational Meet, Farragut State Park, Athol, Id.

Welcome to the 2017-2018 School year!

This blog will be updated daily (M-F) with happenings throughout our school district! We hope everyone has a great first week back!

District Wide News:

Free and reduced lunch forms went home to every student in the mail if you need another copy please stop into the school office or see Charlotte in the cafeteria!

There will be no school September 4th for Labor Day.

School picture day will be September 7th look for packets to come home with students.

Friday September 1st: V Football takes on Prairie at home. Game starts at 7:00 pm.

On Sept. 1st the Genesee -Prairie Football game will be Military Appreciation Night. The ID National Guard will be present at the game and we will have a presentation involving both teams prior to the start of the game. We will recognize our military personnel both current and veterans. ALL Veterans and active military service personnel will be admitted into the game free of charge as a way to say THANK YOU for their service to our country.

6:30pm call all Veterans and active military personnel to South end zone (by the National Guard inflatable helmet).

Can't make it to the game tonight?  It will be broadcast on Idahosports.com the live broadcast starts just before kickoff at 7pm PST
