Volleyball Camp coming to Genesee this summer! Students entering grades 8-12 will have the opportunity to attend a full day camp (sessions from 9 am to noon and 1-4 pm June 20-22). There will also be an evening camp (5-7 pm June 20-21) for girls entering 4-7 grades). Email (pcrowley@sd282.org), see Mr. Crowley , or stop by the school office for a registration form or to ask questions.


Lunch Accounts
Just a reminder to parents that negative lunch account balances must be paid by school year end in order for the kids to receive final report cards. Remember, parents can access student information, including lunch account balances, by logging into the WeBSIS Portal on the school website (SD282.ORG).  If you are having problems getting onto the WeBSIS Portal you can call Jeremy Cerovski at 282-1161 ext 210

Jr. High/High School News
Sports This Week
The baseball team was defeated by Potlatch last night, which means Genesee will be the #4 seed and in a play-in game into the district tournament. The Bulldogs will host CV in a loser-out game today at 4:30 in Genesee. With a win Genesee will most  likely play Prairie on Friday at 10am in Orofino. #3 Kamiah and #6 Troy are playing today in the other District play-in game today. The baseball district tournament will run Friday and Saturday and two teams will advance to the state tournament.
Congratulations to the softball team who became the regular season champions with their win over Troy last night, and will play on Friday at 4pm in the district tournament in Orofino. The district softball tournament will be held on Friday and three teams will advance to the state tournament.
Track Regional Championships will begin on Friday at 2pm in Kamiah and run through Saturday.

Sports This Week

We have received the official ruling from the baseball commissioner and District Board of control based on IHSAA and NFHS rules. The suspended baseball game (due to weather) with Kamiah last night will revert back to the 5th inning and Kamiah is ruled the winner since they were ahead 8-6 at the end of the 5th inning.
The Baseball team will be back in action on Monday at 5pm against Potlatch at home.

Baseball Players that want pictures please stop by the office and pick up an order form.
