Elementary news
GES (Genesee Elementary Singers) will
start tomorrow, Tuesday, November 3rd! GES is open to students in grades 3-6
who are more serious about singing. GES rehearses on Tuesdays after school from
3:20-4:30. If you like singing please come check out GES!
GIVE-BACK DAY INFO
JH & HS students please report to
the teacher's classroom listed on Tuesday's activity period. Students will
learn the work group you have been assigned to for Thursday's give-back day.
Teachers please remember to ask
students about signing up for a sack lunch through the kitchen on Tuesday. Mr. Caldwell will come around and collect sign up info
tomorrow morning during first hour.

Progress Reports
Mid-semester progress reports will be
mailed out this afternoon for all students. Parent-teacher conferences are
scheduled for Thursday from 3:30-7 and Friday 8am - 12noon. Any parent that
would like to schedule a conference with a teacher is encouraged to call or
email and schedule a time to conference. Teachers will be available during the
conference times, and a scheduled time assures parents the opportunity to meet
with teachers.

during Parent Teacher Conferences!

PTO Volunteers Needed!
PTO is looking for high
school students willing to volunteer for child care during parent teacher
conferences. We are hoping to have students volunteer on Thursday,
November 5th from 4-7:00 p.m. If interested, please talk
to Mrs. Moore.
Youth Volleyball Opportunities in Genesee
The Varnish Juniors
Volleyball Club here in Genesee would like 3-8 grade girls and parents to know
that we are planning to have both a U12 (for girls in 5-6 grades) and a U14 (for
girls in junior high) club volleyball team this coming spring. We will also be
hosting youth clinics for younger players this winter.
Varnish Juniors Meeting Announcement:
There will be an
informational meeting for the Varnish Juniors Volleyball Club on 11/8 at 4
pm in the Multi-Purpose Room. This is for females in grades 5-8. Please
contact Mr. Crowley (pcrowley@sd282.org) with any questions and for more
information.
Jr. High/High School News
Congratulations to the Volleyball team
with a 2nd place finish in the state tournament! The team and fans also brought
home the sportsmanship award, congratulations to the players, coaches and fans
that attended the tournament!
VB awards banquet will be Sunday, Nov.
8th at 5pm in the MPR.
Congrats to the Football team on a
great season! FB awards banquet will be Nov. 15th at 4pm in the MPR.
